    • The Encircle Therapy team is composed of both fully licensed therapists and pre-licensed therapists working under the supervision of an approved clinical supervisor.

    • We do not currently have a 24-hour crisis line or drop-in hours.

    • Affirming therapy for BIPOC LGBTQ+ people 12+, and their families.

    • In-person (SLC & Provo), teletherapy

    • Weekly or Bi-weekly, Individual, Relationships, Family Therapy

    • Identity Information, Trauma, Minority Stress, Faith Transition/Religious Trauma, Grief and Loss, Attachment, Depression and Anxiety, ADHD, Neurodiversity, Family Conflict, Adjusting to the stresses of everyday life, Letters for Affirming Care, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Trauma Informed Care, Mindfulness

    We do not practice nor endorse conversion therapy.

  • We provide mental health therapy only and do not currently employ practitioners certified or trained in the following specialties:

    • Eating Disorders (CEDS)

    • Substance Use Disorders (SUDSC)

    • Prescribers such as psychiatrists or nurse practitioners

    We do not currently provide:

    • Group Therapy

    • Case Management

    • Crisis/24-Hour care

    • We do not offer psychological evaluations or assistance in applying for disability or in-home services

Encircle Therapy facilitates healing by providing ethical and affordable mental healthcare for LGBTQIA+ people & families navigating the intersection of identity development with cis/heteronormative faith traditions and cultures.

We are dedicated to finding competent, ethical, and affirming therapists to provide compassionate care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Payment Options

We work hard to ensure therapy is as accessible for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families as possible.

  • At this time, we accept the below as in-network insurance carriers:

    • Traditional and Non-traditional Medicaid

    We’ve ensured our care is affordable even without insurance, and paying the self-pay rate of $125/session for Encircle Therapy services directly with your credit card is always an option. We also accept HSA/FSA payments if you have one of those accounts.

  • LGBTQ+ individuals who participate in the Encircle Therapy Assistance Grant program will gain access to life-saving LGBTQ+ specialized therapy that they otherwise would not be able to afford. The program's main objective is to reduce the financial barrier to gain access to therapy for those experiencing poverty.

Help Provide Therapy Sessions for Individuals

  • $150 provides one therapy session

  • $875 provides one month of weekly sessions

  • $3,500 provides six months of weekly sessions

  • $7,000 provides one year of weekly sessions
